Coordinating the collection of waste oil from more than 35,000 locations is no small feat, involving a considerable amount of paperwork, equipment, and people.

As biofuels producer FatHopes Energy looked to optimise operations, it found its paper-based operation slow and cumbersome. Documents could take weeks to be couriered from one location to another, driver schedules had to be planned with little room for change, and customer requests could not be answered quickly.
