  1. What is Digital Workspace? 
    Digital Workspace is a managed workplace IT solution that helps your business to optimise IT resources & assets while empowers your employees with the business-grade devices, cloud productivity tools & mobile connectivity to achieve ideal business outcomes.

  2. What is the delivery time frame?
    On average, it takes about 10 to 15 working days to deliver the laptop(s) and the on-site service on the same day. However, unforeseen disruption to the global supply chain may prolong the delivery timeline. We will notify you in advance in such an event.

  3. Is there a minimum order quantity?
    No, you can order any quantity from one plan and more.
    In addition, we offer customisation for order with quantity above 50 units. Do let us know your requirements and we will prepare the proposal accordingly.

  4. Can I upgrade or downgrade the plan within the contract period?
    Within the 36-month contract period, you are not allowed to perform a plan upgrade or downgrade that involves the change of device. However, once the contract ends, you can freely choose the plan that best suits your business needs.
    Throughout the contract period, you can only upgrade the Microsoft 365 Business that is bundled within the plan.

  6. What is the difference between laptop leasing offered on the market versus Digital Workspace?
    Laptop leasing often focuses only on the rental of equipment and does not cover the full suite of managed services, connectivity & productivity tools found in Digital Workspace. Also, customers might have to compensate for the remaining value of the device in the event of device loss, whereas Digital Workspace allows a one-time replacement with an equivalent device if you are able to file a police report for loss not due to negligence.

  7. What are the TCO savings I can enjoy by subscribing to Digital Workspace?
    Because we help manage your workplace device and provide centralised IT helpdesk support, you can observe savings in IT operations. The resources you save can be refocused on deliverables that drive business outcomes. Additionally, the all-in-one package makes the 20GB mobile data affordable compared to a separate mobile plan subscription.

  8. What are the on-site visits entitled per device subscribed under the plan?
    First time deployment : System config including user, password and email setup, printer/scanner connection and guidance on Microsoft Teams & OneDrive storage : and to migrate data from existing workstation upon request
    Yearly on-site visit: Once-a-year visit to help you troubleshoot issues that cannot be solved remotely, or perform preventive maintenance
    Warranty with next-business-day support : As and when we receive requests on troubleshooting issues related to device hardware

  9. What if I require another on-site visit to troubleshoot software-related issues if I have already drawn the on-site visit for that particular year?
    For on-site visits related to software troubleshooting & preventive maintenance, once you have used up the yearly entitlement, you must agree to pay RM150 per visit.
    For device warranty, the next-business-day support will not incur any charges on you.

  10. Who should I contact if we need any support on device hardware or software?
    You can raise a ticket in Maxis Business Hub or contact our helpdesk at 1-800-82-1919 (key in Option 3) for support.
    Our helpdesk operates from Mondays to Sundays excluding Public Holidays, from 8am to 12am.
    We aspire to become your one-stop partner by saving you the hassle of having contact multiple parties for assistance on troubleshooting.

  11. What happens after the contract ends?
    You can continue the subscription and receive the latest device model based on the new plan at the time. We shall help you to migrate the data from the existing device to the new one.
    Alternatively, if you choose not to renew the subscription, we will arrange on-site device wiping and collection.
    Nevertheless, you can still opt to subscribe to the Microsoft 365 as a standalone service where all your company data are still retained in the cloud.

  12. Why are the contract period 36 months instead of 24 months?
    The Lenovo ThinkPad laptop bundled with the plan is designed dedicatedly for business use and engineered for performance on productivity, security, and durability. Therefore, you do not have to change the device as frequent as it needs to be.
    Furthermore, we observe most of the business do not change the laptop below three years if the laptop is still usable.

  13. What happens if the device offered as part of the plan gets stolen during the subscription?
    Provided the loss is not due to negligence and you are able to file a police report, you are eligible to claim a one-time one-to-one replacement with an equivalent device within the contract period.

  14. Does the plan always come with the same device model?
    No, we do not guarantee the offering of the same brand or model at all times, but we can assure that the device has similar hardware specifications or higher whenever we enhance our packaging. You may contact our sales representative to verify the latest specifications of the device that comes with the plan.

  15. How should I get more data for my laptop?
    You can log in to your Maxis Business Hub account to allocate additional data from other Digital Workspace or Maxis Business Postpaid plan, or alternatively purchase the additional data pass.
    You may also subscribe to Maxis Business Fibre to have up to 8 units of the laptops upgraded to unlimited data.

  16. What are the built-in security features within the plan and why are them important?
    Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Service employs machine learning technique to protect the device against malware and provide the necessary web security. VMware Workspace One enables the enforcement of user password, device policy and disk encryption to prevent the leak of data. Microsoft 365 provide protection on your email against spam, malware, and known threats. Due to the sophistication of cyber attack, we however do not guarantee on total free-threats and full resolution of security issues.

  17. What are included in the Microsoft 365 Business Basic?
    Web & mobile version of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
    Teams for online video meeting, chats, collaboration with file sharing, task management, etc.
    Email hosting with 50GB mail box (included with free .com domain name).
    1 TB OneDrive cloud storage.
    You can consider an upgrade to higher plan for more features.
