MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 - Service Specific Terms & Conditions

 

General

  1. The Plan comprises of the MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 Plan.
  2. The Service(s): MaxisONE Go WiFi Services. It applies to local data usage. Roaming data usages and additional services as subscribed by you shall be charged in addition to the Plan’s applicable charges.
  3. You: The Business Customer or/and employees or contract staffs of a Business Customer signing up for the Plan.
  4. The use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://business.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/.
  5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  6. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and the STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.

Eligibility

  1. To be eligible for this Plan and Service(s), you must:
    1. Be our Business Customer or an employee or contract staff of a Business Customer who is 18 years old and above;
    2. Not have any outstanding payments with us; and
    3. Not be a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
  2. The Plan is available with a Mobile Device or SIM only plan.

Charges

  1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Plan is as set out on our official website at https://business.maxis.com.my/mobile/business-broadband/. Charges displayed do not include all applicable taxes and GST.
  2. A deposit of RM500 is chargeable for non-Malaysian’s subscribing to the Plan and Service(s).
  3. Your bills are available in electronic format if you sign up for E-Billing service via Maxis Online Account or Maxis ONEBusiness Hub and a copy will be sent to your nominated email address.

Minimum period and duration of service

  1. The Service(s) will be activated within twenty four (24) hours from registration (“Activation”).
  2. For the Plan with a Mobile Device, you are entitled to enter into a contract for a minimum period (“Minimum Period of Subscription”) of either:
    1. twelve (12) months from the date of Activation; or
    2. twenty four (24) months from the date of Activation.
    and will continue until terminated in accordance with this SSTC.
  3. You may be charged early termination charges should you terminate your Plan before the end of either your twelve (12) or twenty (24) months contract. The early termination charge is calculated based on: Monthly commitment x remaining months of the Minimum Period of Subscription.

Our service(s)

  1. The Plan and Service(s) speed is on a best efforts basis. The typical average speed for the 75Mbps 4G LTE network is between 10 to 30Mbps.
  2. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such period of time as we deem fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
    2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities; or
    3. is not in accordance with Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP).
  3. The SIM card allocated to you for the Service(s) can be used with the Mobile Device provided or other mobile devices.

Mobile internet package allocation

  1. Total Internet quota for the Plan is specified during point of sales as contained in the sales material and the rate table on our website at https://business.maxis.com.my/mobile-plans/business-broadband/
  2. For data allocated with the Service(s), you acknowledge and accept as follows:
    1. If your data usage exceeds 300GB in a month, Maxis may at its absolute discretion limit the quality of video streaming to standard definition during peak hours.
    2. The mobile internet package allocated within the Service(s) is exclusively for domestic usage only.
    3. There is no guarantee of speed. Availability of service depends on Mobile Data Coverage.

Equipment

  1. The Mobile Device provided under the Service(s) are:
    1. on a “while stocks last” basis;
    2. subject to the suppliers terms and conditions; and
    3. comes with a one (1) year warranty.
  2. We reserve the rights to change the modem model from time to time.
  3. The one (1) year warranty does not cover:
    1. The SIM and Mobile Device holder;
    2. Damage, loss or defects caused by any act, omission, misuse, negligence including usage of the modem contrary to instructions provided by Maxis or the manufacturer (as set out in the Mobile Device user guide); and/or
    3. Other acts beyond our reasonable control.
  4. Please visit your nearest Maxis Centre should you have any issues with the Mobile Device.
  5. If you discontinue the Service(s) before the expiry of the Minimum Period of Subscription of either twelve (12) or twenty (24) months, you do not need to return the Mobile Device to us. However, you will be charged with the early termination charges as stated in Clause 14.

Roaming

  1. The rates outlined in the Plan structure does not account for usage while on an overseas roaming network.
  2. Data roaming service(s) are available for the Service(s). You will be charged RM10 per day if you opt in for the data roaming service while roaming in any of these nine (9) countries:
    1. Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
  3. Your local data quota will be utilised according to the Plan you have signed up for.
  4. Whilst roaming overseas (other than the nine (9) countries mentioned above), the prevailing data roaming charges at https://business.maxis.com.my/mobile-plans/international-roaming/ will apply.

Termination & suspension

  1. Subject to the GTC, you may at any time terminate the Plan by giving us at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice by writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my or bizcare@maxis.com.my.
  2. For any planned interruption of the Service(s), Maxis will provide you adequate notice via notice on our official website at https://business.maxis.com.my/mobile/business-broadband/ and/or any other mode of communication as we may deem appropriate.

 


 

Maxis ONEbusiness Go WiFi 168 - Terms & Conditions

 

General

  1. The Plan: Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168
  2. The Service(s): Comprises of the Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 plan. It applies to local data usage, voice services and IDD Calls. Roaming data usages and additional services as subscribed by you shall be charged in addition to the Plan’s applicable charges.
  3. You: The Business Customer or/and employees or contract staffs of a Business Customer signing up for the Plan.
  4. The use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://business.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/.

Our service(s)

  1. You acknowledge and accept, that the following shall apply with regards to the minutes allocated to you for Voice calls and IDD calls under the Plan:
    1. Domestic mobile/fixed ON-net (Maxis to Maxis calls) & OFF-net (calls from Maxis to other Service Provider) usage (excluding, video calls, calls to special numbers, eg.1-300/1-800/600, 121, TM100, 1MOCC, 02-pre_x numbers for IDD calls to Singapore & 080-pre_x numbers for border calls to Brunei) & Unity Hotline ;
    2. are for standard person to person calls;
    3. it is NOT meant for video calls, multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialing, machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.

Top 16 idd bundle pass

  1. You acknowledge and accept, that the following shall apply with regards to the minutes allocated to you for IDD calls under the Plan:
    1. Under the Plan, Customers shall be provided with one-hundred and twenty (120) minutes for IDD calls.
    2. IDD calls shall only be applicable to the following countries: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
    3. In the event that your allocated minutes are completely utilized, you will be charged our standard IDD rate listed at https://business.maxis.com.my/mobile-plans/idd-saver/.
  2. The Plan and Service(s) speed is on a best efforts basis. The typical average speed for the 75Mbps 4G LTE network is between 10 to 30Mbps
  3. We reserve the right at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such period of time as we deem fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:

  5. For every subscription of the Plan(s) and Service(s), you have the option to purchase a Dect Phone, as follows:
    1. If you subscribe to a twelve (12) or twenty-four (24) months contract and choose to purchase a Dect Phone, you will not be charged a one-time fee.

  6. If you discontinue the Service(s) before the expiry of the Minimum Period of Subscription of either twelve (12) or twenty (24) months, you do not need to return the Mobile Device to us. However, you will be charged with the early termination charges as stated in Clause 14.

Roaming

  1. The rates outlined in the Plan(s) structure do not account for usage while on an overseas roaming network.

MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 & Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 Rebate Campaign – Terms & Conditions

 

Introduction

Sign up for the MaxisONE Go Wifi 138 plan or Maxis ONEBusiness Go Wifi 168 plan (“Plan(s)”) and enjoy a RM 30 rebate as set out in the table below:

Eligibility

  1. To be eligible for this Campaign, you must fall within one of the following categories:

     

    New Subscriptions

    1. a new or existing Maxis Business Customer who signs up for a Maxis Business Postpaid 98/108/128/158/188 plan (“MBP Plan(s)”) and wishes to subscribe to the Plan(s); or
    2. a current Maxis Business Customer with an existing MBP Plan and no existing contract for the Plan(s) who wishes to subscribe to the Plan(s); or

     

    Renewal of current Plan

    1. Current Maxis Business Customer subscribing to the Plan under a twelve (12) months contract with a remaining term of two (2) months or less who wishes to renew their Plan; or
    2. Current Maxis Business Customer subscribing to the Plan under a twenty-four (24) months contract with a remaining term of four (4) months or less who wishes to renew their Plan; or

     

    Renewal and upgrade of MaxisONE Go Wifi 138 (“Go Wifi 138”)

    1. Current Maxis Business Customer subscribing to Go Wifi 138 under a twelve (12) months contract with a remaining term of two (2) months or less who wishes to renew and upgrade to the Plan; or
    2. Current Maxis Business Customer subscribing to Go Wifi 138 under a twenty-four (24) months contract with a remaining term of (4) months or less who wishes to renew and upgrade to the Plan.
  1. You will not be eligible for this Campaign if you have any outstanding payment with us.
  2. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility is subject to our absolute discretion.
  3. You are only entitled for the rebate for one (1) Plan under the Campaign.

Campaign Period

  1. The campaign shall commence from 5th October 2020, on a "while stocks last" basis.

Charges

For customers on a 12-months contract

  1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Campaign both during and after the twelve (12) months rebate period. Charges exclude all applicable taxes. Upon activation of the Plan(s), the rebate will be reflected in your bill from the second (2nd) month onwards for twelve (12) months. Thereafter, you will continue to pay the full price of the MaxisONE Go Wifi 138 plan or Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 plan* (including the Voice Go subscription fee of RM 10) every month onwards. If services under the Plan(s) is terminated by the twelfth (12th) month, the rebate to be given for the thirteenth (13th) month will be forfeited.

For customers on a 24-months contract

  1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with this Campaign both during and after the twenty-four (24) months rebate period. Charges exclude all applicable taxes. Upon activation of the Plan(s), the rebate will be reflected in your bill from the second (2nd) month onwards for twenty-four (24) months. Thereafter, you will continue to pay the full price of the MaxisONE Go Wifi 138 plan or Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 plan* (including the Voice Go subscription fee of RM 10) every month onwards. If services under the Plan(s) is terminated by the twenty-fourth (24th) month, the rebate to be given for the twenty-fifth (25th) month will be forfeited.

    *You reserve the right to terminate your Voice Go subscription after the Minimum Period of Service.

Minimum Period of Service and Early Termination

  1. Each Plan is subject to a minimum period of subscription of either twelve (12) months or twenty-four (24) months depending on the contract duration you opt for when you sign up (“Minimum Period of Service”).
  2. You shall NOT do any of the following during the Minimum Period of Service:
    1. terminate your MBP Plan(s) and/or MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 plan or Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 plan;
    2. suspend your MBP Plan(s) and/or MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 or Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 plan;
    3. have your MBP Plan(s) and/or MaxisONE Go WiFi account terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
    4. downgrade Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 for any reason whatsoever; or
    5. change or transfer ownership of the MaxisONE Go WiFi 138 or Maxis ONEBusiness Go WiFi 168 to another person.
  3. If any of the events in Clause 9 above occurs, you shall no longer be entitled to enjoy the RM30 rebate and may be subject to early termination charges calculated as follows:

General

  1. The campaign is not exchangeable for cash.
  2. Your entitlement to the rebate under the Campaign is not transferable and may not be assigned or novated.
  3. The Campaign is not valid in conjunction with other on-going promotions, offers, discounts, net-price products, rebates or privileges, unless otherwise allowed by Maxis.
  4. By subscribing to the Campaign, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which shall form an integral part and to be read together with the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) and applicable addendum, Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://business.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/business. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  5. Our decisions in any matter in relation to the Campaign shall be final and conclusive and any request for appeal or review will not be entertained.
  6. We are entitled at our discretion without liability, from time to time, to vary, add to, remove or otherwise amend these terms and conditions or any part thereof and/or withdraw or cancel the promotions without any prior notice. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded.
  7. We will not be liable for any claims by you or any third party for loss or damages of any nature, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of reputation, loss of savings, punitive, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or for any other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential or other damages resulting from or in connection with your subscription of the Campaign.
  8. Any conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions, the SSTC, the GTC and the STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) these terms and conditions; (b) SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.
  9. If any of the provision in these terms and conditions is held to be invalid, illegal and unenforceable under any applicable law or court of law or by any reasons whatsoever, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired in any way and such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision shall be deemed deleted.
