Service Specific Terms & Conditions ONEBusiness Office Plan

Version [1 Feb 2018]


  1. The Plan(s): Comprises of ONEBusiness Office.
  2. You: The Business Customer or/and employees or contract staffs of a Business Customer signing up for the Plan(s).
  3. The use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/onebusinessoffice
  4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as deemed in the GTC.
  5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and the STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.


  1. To be eligible for the Plan(s) you must:
    1. be a SME Company ,or Corporate Company (“Business Customer”);
    2. have a billing address in East Malaysia; and
  1. The Plan(s) is not available to you if you have any outstanding balance with us.
  2. Any application for subscription of the Plan(s) must be submitted through selected Maxis centres, Maxis exclusive partners or authorized dealers in East Malaysia, telesales or through Maxis account managers.
  3. We reserve the right to o er any device o ers together with any of the Plan(s) at our sole and absolute discretion.

Provision of Service(s)

  1. The minimum period of subscription for the Plan(s) is twenty four (24) months from the date of activation of the Service(s) (“Minimum Period of Subscription”).
  2. By subscribing to the Plan(s), you are entitled to a free 4G FWBB Modem to be redeemed at the point of registration.
  3. You must redeem the Device Subsidy at the point of registration for the Plan(s).
  4. If you choose to redeem the 4G FWBB Modem the Device Subsidy will be reduced according to the price to be determined and set by Maxis. If you do not redeem the free 4G FWBB Modem at the point of registration, you will be entitled to the full Device Subsidy.
  5. You are entitled to subscribe for a maximum eleven (11) additional mobile lines under the Plan(s). The Minimum Period of Subscription for the additional mobile lines is twenty four (24) months from the date of activation of the Services.
  6. The Plan(s) and additional mobile lines are o ered as a bundle package. Suspension or barring or termination of the Plan(s) will also cause the additional mobile lines to be suspended or barred or terminated at the same time.


  1. The Plan(s) structure is in the attached Appendix or as updated by us from time to time. Charges published are exclusive of all applicable taxes including GST.
  2. You may be charged early termination charges should you terminate your Plan(s) before the end of the Minimum Period of Subscription. The calculation for the early termination charges are as follows: the monthly commitment fees of the Plan(s) X (the remaining unexpired duration of the Minimum Period of Subscription)

Unlimited Minutes and SMS

  1. You acknowledge and accept, for the voice & SMS allocated with the Plan(s) that the unlimited minutes and SMS’ apply to:
    1. Domestic mobile/ xed ON-net (Maxis to Maxis calls and SMS’) & OFF-net (calls and SMS’ from Maxis to other Service Provider) usage for ONEBusiness O ce (excluding, video calls, calls to special numbers, eg. 1-300/1-800/600, 121, TM100, 1MOCC, & 080-pre x numbers for border calls to Brunei);
    2. Domestic mobile ON-net usage for [insert plans] (excluding OFF-net usage, calls to xed lines, video calls, calls to special numbers, eg. 1-300/1-800/600, 121, TM100, 1MOCC & 080-pre x numbers for border calls to Brunei);
    3. are for standard person to person calls or texts;
    4. it is NOT meant for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialing, machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.

Additional Features

  1. For this Plan(s), you acknowledge and accept:
    1. Any request for additional lines within the same account will be set at a maximum of 11 lines and will be added to the Plan(s) for each request, provided that it is within the limit of lines allocated for each Plan subscribed by you.
    2. These additional lines will be renewed automatically at the end of your bill cycle.
    3. Each additional line will come with unlimited voice and sms for all net.
    4. You are allowed to combine and share data between the Plan(s) and the additional lines at the point of registration.
    5. If you add on lines in the middle of the bill cycle: the fee payables will be pro-rated against your bill cycle date. You will be charged at full price from the second month onwards. There will be no refund for unused / unactivated lines under the package.

Mobile Internet Package Allocation

  1. Total Internet quota for the Plan(s) is speci ed during point of sales as contained in the sales material.
  2. You are required to activate all lines under the Plan(s) and additional lines (if any) in order to enjoy the full Internet quota.
  3. For data allocated with the Plan(s), you acknowledge and accept:
    1. You will experience data browsing at reduced speeds with no EXCESS charges if any usage exceeds the allocated mobile data.
    2. The mobile internet package allocated within the Plan(s) is for domestic usage.
    3. The Plan(s) allows for you to purchase Mobile Internet pass(s) through ONEBusiness Hub, Maxis Business app or by calling our Contact Centres 1800-82-1919 or (1919) or you may contact your
      assigned Account Manager, in either one of the following manner: i. Non-shareable where it is to be used solely by the assigned line and will either be automatically renewed at the end of your bill cycle or it will be based on the time used. Refer to the attached Appendix for the add-ons availability.


  1. The modem provided under the Service(s) are:
    1. on a “while stocks last” basis;
    2. subject to the suppliers terms and conditions; and c. comes with a one (1) year warranty.
  1. We reserve the rights to change the device model from time to time.
  2. The one (1) year warranty does not cover:
    1. The SIM and modem holder;
    2. Damage, loss or defects caused by any act, omission, misuse, negligence including usage of the modem contrary to instructions provided by Maxis or the manufacturer (As set out in the modem’s user guide); and/or
    3. Other acts beyond our reasonable control.


  1. The rates outlined in the Plan(s) structure (as per the Appendix) do not account for usage while on an overseas roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/business/business-solutions/international-roaming.html apply.


International Direct Dial Pass (IDD PASS)

  1. This pass is exclusively for participants / customers who make IDD or border calls for the countries mentioned on the Maxis website for IDD Pass via direct dialling.
  2. IDD Calls made via IDD 132 calls are not eligible for this IDD pass.
  3. You can purchase the pass by calling Maxis Centres, customer care line at 1800-82-1919 or 1919.
  4. The IDD Pass is bundled with minutes usage which will be activated upon availability. You are entitled to full minutes allocation until the next bill cycle. Unused minutes will be forfeited.
  5. Any IDD calls prior to the pass activation will be charged on pay per use basis and not part of the IDD Pass.
  6. The IDD Pass is valid and renewable at every billing cycle.
  7. You can also purchase a one-time add on pass upon the expiry of the IDD Pass (which is valid until next billing cycle).
  8. Only one month IDD pass is allowed to be subscribed at any given time and any subsequent one-time add on, must be of the same IDD monthly pass subscribed previously.
  9. The IDD pass will be charged with the full amount and given full minutes allocation regardless of any termination within the billing cycle (pro-rate does not apply).
  10. The countries and charges for IDD Pass at http://www.maxis.com.my/en/business/products-and-services/mobile-solutions/idd-saver.html apply.

Things We May Do to The Service(s)

  1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such period of time as we deem t or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
    2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities; or
    3. is not in accordance with Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP).


  1. Subject to the GTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan(s) by giving us at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice by writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my or bizcare@maxis.com.my.
