Maxis Managed UC: Teams Phone System Complimentary Subscription FAQ

 

I am interested in a six-month complimentary subscription for the Teams Phone System package and a Microsoft Office 365 E1 license. How do I go about this?
You may register your interest through our website, our customer service hotline at 1800-82-1919, or your Maxis account manager supporting you.

If you have an existing Microsoft Office 365 E1 subscription, you are required to accept the Maxis reseller relationship link to allow Maxis to enable the Teams Phone System on your Microsoft Teams account to make and receive PSTN calls.

Thirty complimentary seats for Teams Phone System per company is insufficient. How do I get more?
You may add as many Teams Phone System licences as you require, at the usual cost.

Are there any setup or activation fees that I need to pay for the free Teams Phone System package?
No, we will waive the one time fee of RM 6,000 per company for the phone system license activation and managed service.

How do I continue to use the service once the six-month complimentary subscription ends?
You may contact your account manager to secure a paid subscription with contract after the complimentary period ends.

Will Maxis be extending the six-month Teams Phone System complimentary subsciption beyond the first 20 companies?
No, we will not be extending the complimentary subscription of Teams Phone System once the quota had been reached.

Must I have a Maxis internet connection when I sign up for the six-month Teams Phone System complimentary subscription?
No, you do not need a Maxis internet connection to enjoy the complimentary subscription.

What happens if my Microsoft Office E1 subscription ends first? Would I still be able to enjoy the six-month Teams Phone System complimentary subscription?
If your Teams Phone System package is tied to your Microsoft Office E1 free trial, then you won't be able to continue using Teams Phone System.
