Maxis Business Fibre

  • Maxis Business Fibre is a high-speed fibre broadband plan designed for businesses, offering various speed packages.

  • Please refer to the table below:

  • All Maxis Business Fibre plans come with a 24-month contract.

  • Maxis Business Fibre is open to all registered business customers within our coverage area. Check your business address at Coverage Checker. Required documents include:

    1. Form 9 & 49 or Form 12 & 49 (For your registered company)
    2. A Letter of Award (LOA) or Letter of Request (LOR) that should also be attached together with the photocopy of the Person in Charge’s National Registration Identity Card (NRIC).
  • To switch, follow these steps:

    1. Check your coverage at Coverage Checker.
    2. Contact your nearest Maxis dealer or call 1 700 81 8881.
    3. Select your preferred package; installation will occur within 14 working days after service availability confirmation.


    However, please do be mindful of the following:

    1. If your existing service is still within the stipulated contract period, you may be subject to an early termination fee or penalty by your existing service provider.
    2. To ensure that your business has an uninterrupted Internet service, please do not terminate your existing service before the Maxis Business Fibre installation is completed at your business premises.
  • If you agree to subscribe to Maxis Business Fibre, you will receive a router with a 4G SIM (Instant Broadband) for immediate internet access, high-speed internet up to 1Gbps with unlimited data quota, professional installation services, and 24/7 customer support. Additionally, you can choose from a variety of flexible plans tailored to your business needs, along with potential features like static IP addresses.

  • You will receive an acknowledgement SMS upon successful registration. We will then call you to arrange the installation within 48 hours after checking on the details of the coverage of the Business Fibre services in your area. After the installation appointment date has been successfully set, we will then share the full appointment details with you via SMS.

  • Upon the acceptance of your application, Maxis will install and activate the Service(s) within fifteen (15) working days.

  • We will propose a few time slots for you, and you may choose your preferred date and time based on our available slots.

  • Please get ready five (5) power outlets and some cash as charges may apply for cabling depending on the requirements at your business premises.

  • You must give Maxis at least five (5) days of advance notice for any rescheduling or cancellation of the appointed date and time of installation agreed initially between you and Maxis. To reschedule the appointment, you may contact Maxis Business’s mobile line – 1919.

  • No, you will not be charged if you provide Maxis within five (5) days of advance notice for any rescheduling or cancellation of the appointed date and time of the installation. However, a fee of RM200 will be charged by Maxis for any late notification of the rescheduling or cancellation of the appointed installation date.

  • No, Maxis does not cover the non-standard installation charges, which includes but not limited to external cables from the entrance up to the internal wiring inside your site(s), wiring above ceiling, underground and concealed wiring including cabling from building telecommunication room to your site(s). You may appoint your own contractor or deal directly with the appointed contractor/installer.

  • It is best for you to be present at your business premises during the installation. However, if you are unable to be present on the installation day, we highly recommend that one of your IT personnel is present during the installation as our Maxperts will help to set up your plan at your premises to help ensure that your network is configured appropriately.

  • Yes, you will receive a call 4 days before the installation and a reminder via SMS 1 day prior to the installation. On the installation day, our installer will contact you an hour before the installation.

  • If you choose the 100Mbps speed package, you will receive one (1) next-gen WiFi 6 certified router, one (1) ATA box, and one (1) DECT phone. For speed packages of 300Mbps, 500Mbps, and 1Gbps, you will receive one (1) Mesh WiFi, along with the same list of devices from the 100Mbps speed package.

  • No, the fibre installation by Maxperts & aftersales support is FREE for all of the fibre plans.

  • The Mesh WiFi is a device that helps you to expand your WiFi coverage range throughout your office and to eliminate any WiFi dead spots within your office. This is because high quality WiFi coverage throughout your office is important to keep your employees productive.

    One unit of Mesh WiFi is provided for FREE for the 300Mbps, 500Mbps and 1Gbps speed packages. For the 100Mbps speed package, there is an option to add one (1) unit of Mesh WiFi at a charge as set out in the registration form.

  • Yes, you can upgrade to a higher download speed than the current download speeds that you subscribed to during the minimum period of service provided that the infrastructure is available at your site(s).

  • No, you cannot downgrade during the minimum contract subscription period. If you downgrade the service(s) before the expiry of the minimum period of service, you are to pay Maxis the monthly recurring charges for the whole months remaining for the subscription.

  • Please contact your dealer or Account Managers. Alternatively, you may also call 1800-82-1919.

  • Yes, your new Business Fibre plan will be renewed for another 24 months. To change or upgrade your plan, please contact your dealer/account manager or call 1800-82-1919.

  • To change or upgrade your current Business Fibre package, please contact your dealer/account manager or call 1800-82-1919 and they will advise you accordingly based on your existing contract as well as the benefits and the conditions of the new plan.

  • Please contact your dealer/account manager or call 1800-82-1919 if you would like to change your plan and they will advise you accordingly.

  • If you wish to terminate your Business Fibre service, please provide Maxis with thirty (30) days' advance written notice. Alternatively, you may also contact your dealer or account manager regarding your termination.

  • You must pay Maxis the monthly recurring charges for the whole months remaining for the minimum period of service if you terminate the agreement of your Business Fibre service before the minimum period of service.

  • There are no charges if your service has passed the contract period. An early termination fee will be charged if your service is still within the contract period.

    There will be no penalty charge for termination after the contract period. However, you are required to settle any outstanding bills prior to termination.

  • Yes, you are required to return the Maxis equipment to good working condition. If you do not return the Maxis Equipment or if you return the Maxis Equipment but it is not in good working condition, you will be charged a fee of RM200, or such other charge as may be notified to you by Maxis from time to time. This charge does not include applicable taxes.
